About Us
AgingWell is dedicated to providing care for elderly and disabled adults who require supervision during the day. For your loved ones it's a chance to be more active in a comfortable environment with trained medical staff on hand.
For you, it's an opportunity to find support. Adult day health programs have been known to help the elderly and disabled remain in touch with their community. As a result, these programs can prevent or postpone hospitalization and delay the need for nursing home care.
AgingWell serves with those with:
- limited functioning due to disability or age-related weakness
- confusion, memory problems or other forms of dementia
- Alzheimer's or Parkinson's
- incontinence
- difficulties completing every day tasks such as eating, bathing, and/or personal grooming
- developmental disabilities or mental retardation
- trauma from strokes, heart attacks and accidents
- a diagnosed psychiatric illnesses such as depression
Our goals
Building on the supportive environment offered by our group setting, our programs will work to
- maintain our participant's present levels of functioning as long as possible preventing or delaying further deterioration
- restore and rehabilitate participants to their highest possible level of functioning
- provide support, respite and education for families and caregivers
- foster positive interaction between our participants
